M.A.T in Science Education (expected in 2020), Instructor, Marine Biology
Mrs. Shatavia Jenkins has taught Life Science, Biology, Marine Biology, and Environmental Science during her eight years in education. She has also worked as a Marine Science Educator for the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Mrs. Jenkins received her Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from Savannah State University (Savannah, GA) and is currently pursuing a M.A.T in Science Education from the University of Georgia (Athens, GA). She currently lives in Mableton, GA with her husband, Clint, and their daughter, Avery. Mrs. Jenkins attends Buckhead Church and enjoys visiting aquariums, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
